How It Works

How Our Vasectomy Treatment Works

A vasectomy is a simple, safe, and permanent birth control solution for men who want a reliable family planning option. At Valiant Clinic, we use advanced, minimally invasive techniques to ensure a quick procedure, minimal discomfort, and a smooth recovery with long-term effectiveness.

Personalized Consultation and Planning

Every patient’s decision is important. We begin with a confidential consultation to discuss the procedure, benefits, and what to expect. Our specialists answer any questions and provide a detailed evaluation to ensure vasectomy is the right choice for you.

Minimally Invasive, No-Scalpel Approach

We use a no-scalpel technique to access the vas deferens with a tiny puncture instead of an incision. This results in less pain, no stitches, reduced bleeding, and a faster healing process compared to traditional vasectomy methods.

Quick and Virtually Painless Procedure

The entire procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes less than 30 minutes. Most patients experience little to no pain during the process, allowing them to return home the same day with minimal downtime.

Fast Recovery with Minimal Downtime

Most men resume light activities within 24-48 hours. We provide post-procedure care instructions, including applying ice packs, avoiding heavy lifting, and taking over-the-counter pain relievers if needed. Full recovery is typically achieved within a week.

Confirming Long-Term Effectiveness

A follow-up semen analysis is conducted after a few months to confirm that the vasectomy was successful. Until then, alternative contraception is recommended. We provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure complete peace of mind.

Vasectomy FAQ’s

A vasectomy is a minor surgical procedure for permanent male contraception. It involves cutting and sealing the vas deferens, the tubes that transport sperm from the testicles to the urethra, preventing sperm from being present in ejaculate.

The procedure typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia.

While vasectomy reversals are possible, they are not always successful and should not be relied upon. Vasectomy should be considered a permanent form of contraception.

Most men can return to work and light activities within a few days. Strenuous exercise and sexual activity should be avoided for about a week to allow proper healing.

Vasectomy is generally safe, but potential risks include mild pain, swelling, bruising, infection, or, in rare cases, long-term discomfort.

No, a vasectomy does not impact testosterone levels, erections, libido, or ejaculation. The only change is the absence of sperm in the semen.

Other birth control should continue until a semen analysis confirms the absence of sperm, which is usually tested 8 to 10 weeks after the procedure.
