Ultrasound-Guided Injections

Ultrasound-guided injections are a precise and effective method for delivering medications directly to the source of musculoskeletal pain or inflammation. By utilizing real-time imaging, clinicians can accurately target joints, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues, enhancing the efficacy of treatments and reducing potential complications.
At Valiant Clinic, we employ ultrasound-guided injections to treat a variety of conditions, including osteoarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, and other sports-related injuries, aiming to alleviate pain and restore function.

How It Works

How Our Ultrasound-Guided Injections Work

At Valiant Clinic, we take a patient-focused approach to musculoskeletal care, addressing not just the immediate injury but your overall performance and well-being. We create personalised plans that combine advanced diagnostics, targeted treatments, and ongoing support.

Initial Consultation & Assessment

Our specialists begin with a thorough evaluation of your symptoms and medical history, followed by a physical examination to determine the need for an injection.

Ultrasound Imaging Guidance

A handheld transducer emits sound waves to produce real-time images, allowing clinicians to visualize the target area and guide the needle with precision.

Injection Procedure

Under sterile conditions, the appropriate medication—such as corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid, or platelet-rich plasma—is injected directly into the affected area.

Post-Procedure Monitoring

Patients are observed for a short period post-injection to ensure there are no immediate adverse reactions and to assess initial pain relief.

Follow-Up Care

Subsequent appointments may be scheduled to monitor progress, evaluate the effectiveness of the injection, and plan any additional treatments or rehabilitation as needed.
