Trained at L’Archet University Hospital in Nice, France, he is the author of 11 award-recognised books on endocrinology, diabetes, nutrition and public health, and an active member of both the French Endocrinologists Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). His scope covers both adults and children, with particular expertise in thyroid disorders, endocrine tumours, hormonal infertility and complex metabolic disease.

When should I see an endocrinologist?
An endocrinologist should be consulted if you are managing diabetes (Type 1 or Type 2), have an abnormal thyroid result, are experiencing significant weight, energy or mood changes, have unexplained fertility difficulties, suspect a hormonal cause behind irregular cycles or growth issues in children, or have been told you have a thyroid nodule, parathyroid, pituitary or adrenal gland abnormality. Bone-density loss, vitamin D deficiency and high cholesterol are also commonly managed by endocrinology.
The full spectrum of endocrine and metabolic conditions — including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid nodules and disorders, parathyroid, pituitary and adrenal gland conditions, obesity and metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis and vitamin D deficiency, growth and puberty disorders in children, and women’s and men’s hormonal health.
