After earning her medical degree from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, Dr. Mario obtained her Facharzt in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Germany in 2010. She is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh, and completed advanced fellowships in aesthetic surgery, transplant surgery, trauma surgery, and burns reconstruction in the United Kingdom, including training at the internationally recognized St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns.
Dr. Mario has held senior leadership positions across Europe, including leading interdisciplinary microsurgery at Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, Switzerland, and serving as Deputy Chief of Plastic Surgery at Klinikum EvB, a Charité-affiliated teaching hospital in Berlin, where she was responsible for the breast surgery department. She also completed a consultant-level appointment at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital Group, Saudi Arabia, managing aesthetic, trauma, and burns cases.
